APPSC Registration 2021 

To fill the application form for APPSC 2021, candidates first have to register online with their basic details. The registration process is mandatory for the first-time registration of candidates. There is no need for registration for the candidates who have previously applied for the APPSC 2021 exam. They can directly proceed to fill the online application forms of APPSC by using their registered login credentials. Find below the steps to fill the application form of APPSC: 

Online One-Time Registration 

Step 1: Visit the official website of APPSC 

Step 2: Now click on the official notification of APPSC to check the post eligibility

Step 3: Check out the eligibility criteria and procedures with the candidate’s registration

Step 4: Fill the basic details as the Aadhar Card Number, Name of the Candidate, Candidates’ Date of Birth, Religion, Caste (general /SC /ST /OBC), and the educational details as class 10th marks and grades, class 12th marks and grades, name of the board, school name, and address. 

Step 5: Enter the contact details to create the registration ID and password for the APPSC recruitment application as parent’s details, mobile number, email ID, address of the candidate. 

Upload the necessary documents for Registration

Step 6: Now upload the scanned photo and sign of the candidate as per the instructions (For photograph the file size should not exceed more than 50KB, the dimensions should be 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm, the file format should be JPEG /JPG, and it should be clicked with a white background. For the images, the file size should be below 30 KB, the dimensions should be 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm, and the file format should be JPEG or JPG. The signature should be done with the black or blue ink ball pen. 

Generate OTPS ID to proceed for Direct Recruitment.

Step 7: After completing the registration form of APPSC mark all the declarations required by the authorities to complete the process. 

Step 8: Now the OTPS ID will be generated by the authorities and sent to the provided email address and mobile number of candidates.

Log in and complete the Application Process

Step 9: After generating the OTPS ID, log in through the official portal APPSC

Step 10: Now fill the application form through the ‘Direct Recruitment’ process by entering the login ID and password

Step 11: Choose the group and post you want to apply for and proceed. 

Online Fees Payment

Step 12: Submit the fees online after completing the application form through Net Banking /Credit Card /Debit Card 

Step 13: After that, submit the application form, download, and take out the print of the application form for future reference. 

APPSC Exam Pattern 2021 

Before appearing in the exam of APPSC, the candidate must check out the exam pattern issued by the official authorities. 

APPSC Group 1 Prelims Exam Pattern 

Find below the exam pattern for prelims under group 1 of the APPSC exam:

  1. Number of Papers: Two papers 
  2. Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions
  3. Duration of exam: 120 minutes (Two hours) 
  4. Number of questions: 120 questions  
  5. Marking Scheme: One-third mark will be deducted for every wrong answer
  6. Maximum Marks: 120 marks 

APPSC Group 1 Main Exam Pattern 

Check out the exam pattern for APPSC group 1 main exam: 

  1. Number of Papers: Seven papers 
  2. Type of questions: Descriptive Type Questions
  3. Duration of exam: 180 minutes per paper 
  4. Number of papers: Total 7 papers (2 qualifying papers and 5 papers for merit rank)
  5. Marking Scheme: One-third mark will be deducted for every wrong answer

Maximum Marks: 150 marks

After clearing the mains exam for group 1 candidates are called up for the personal interview round for final selection. 

APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam Pattern 

Find below the exam pattern of APPSC prelims for group 2 exams: 

  1. Number of Papers: One paper 
  2. Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions
  3. Duration of exam: 150 minutes 
  4. Number of questions: 150 questions  
  5. Marking Scheme: One-third mark will be deducted for every wrong answer
  6. Maximum Marks: 150 marks

APPSC Group 2 Mains Exam Pattern 

Find below the exam pattern of APPSC prelims for group 2 exams: 

  1. Number of Papers: Three paper 
  2. Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions
  3. Duration of exam: 150 minutes for each paper 
  4. Number of questions: 150 questions per paper (Total 450 questions)
  5. Marking Scheme: One-third mark will be deducted for every wrong answer
  6. Maximum Marks: 150 marks per paper (Total 450 marks)

APPSC Group 3 Prelims Exam Pattern
