number of industries, which were chilled by the Corona outbreak, have regained some momentum. New Four Wheelers and Two Wheelers are being launched in the market. Currently, the trend towards electric vehicles seems to be on the rise.
The Indian bike market also has a large consumer segment of sports bikes. Therefore, auto companies are focusing on bringing new bikes for this customer segment. Against this backdrop, the leading two-wheeler company Yamaha has introduced two of its R15 V4 and R15 M sports bikes (Yamaha Sports Bikes) in India.
The two state-of-the-art bikes in Yamaha's 155 cc sports bike range are priced at Rs 1.68 lakh for the R15 V4 and Rs 1.78 lakh for the R15 M. These are the bikes introduced by Yamaha after the V15 of the R15, which was unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo.
The new R15 V4 bike features a newly designed LED Projector Headlight and an upside-down fork. Similarly, digital instrument cluster is its special feature.
It offers Bluetooth connectivity, which can be used to relay SMS and call alerts on Ryder's smartphone. The R15 V4 is available in three colors, Red, Dark Knight and Racing Blue, depending on the price.
Yamaha's R15 M is similar to the bike V3 model, available in a single color scheme. With a 155 cc single-cylinder engine, the bike delivers 18.4 hp and 14.2 Nm of torque.
It has a six-speed gearbox similar to the Deltabox frame, a slip-and-assist clutch and a dual-channel ABS system. The R15 M bike uses more grip material for the seat, 3D emblem and Bybre brake callipers.
This bike has Quick-Shifter and Traction Control System. These systems are optional in the R15 V4.
