The story of the martyrdom of Jagdish Yadav, a resident of Neemkathana of Sikar district, who was martyred in the Parliament attack, From the lips of children and family members after fourteen years.

That day of thirteenth December 2001, even today, the family members of Yadav bring back the wretched memories of yesterday. Veerangana Prem has tried a lot to forget her husband in the last one and a half-decade, but Yadav's picture is not tarnished from her eyes. But the father-like spirit of bravery in children gives him comfort.

Devi, the sister-in-law of Shaheed Yadav, says that whenever brother-in-law Jagdish used to come home in the night on holidays, mother-in-law Simli Devi used to stay awake till late at night and open the door for the son.

During that time, the mother used to interrupt Jagdish something will happen, On this Jagdish would say, mother, your son is so strong that if there is a fight, he will die with ten. After the incident, I started getting my life back on track.

But bad memories followed me and somewhere she used to make me feel those wretched moments. When they passed away, the daughter was eight months old and the son Gaurav was four and a half years old. When the daughter was three years old and started going to school, it was hidden from her that her father was not there.

Never let him feel that he is not a father, but one day he asked me that 'Mommy, everyone's father comes to school, where is my father, why doesn't he come to pick me up?' I cried a lot.

Caught tears in my mind and comforted the daughter again 'Papa does Delhi job, he will come very soon and will definitely go to fetch you from school. When she grew up, she knew everything.

But after that, she did not become weak due to the absence of her father, but took up the saga of her martyrdom and took up the spirit of doing something for others like her. He has dreamed of becoming a doctor.

I am happy about his dream. One day she will definitely fulfil this dream, the Garima says 'India needs to be stronger now, the army should be given good resources and facilities to fight the enemies so that they can protect the country by fighting the war.

The anti-nationals caught in terrorist activities should be punished as soon as possible, so that other terrorists can change their way after seeing their fate. I have to say this because after so many years the killers of my father got death.

That time was spent very hard. Jagdish Prasad Yadav was martyred in the attack on Parliament on 13 December 2001.

When the attack took place, he was the first to confront the terrorists. Yadav was overseeing the departure arrangements of the Vice President at the time of the incident. Only Jagdish Prasad Yadav from Rajasthan was martyred in the attack.

They had once returned the Ashoka Chakra medal to the President after the main accused Afzal Guru was not hanged. Later on hanging, the Ashoka Chakra medal was found back.
