Had the privilege of meeting & encouraging this young batter from Vettucaud in my constituency, many years ago. Today Shoun Roger returned from the Under19 VinooMankad Trophy after playing the innings of the tournament: 121 in120 balls when his team was struggling at 5 for 4!
Apart from this brilliant match-saving innings, Shoun Roger scored 218 runs and took 5 wickets in the tournament overall. He has already been declared the Most Promising Batsman of the KeralaCricketLeague 2021, after the League tournament conducted by @KCAcricket . Way to go!
