17 words every muslim must know
2 When remembering Allah: (لا إله إلا الله) (La ilaaha illa Allah)- None is worthy of worship except Allah (s.w.t)
3 When willing to do something: (إن شاء الله) (In Shaa Allah)- If Allah wills.
4 When willed to do something: (توكلت على الله) (Tawakkaltu Ala-Allah)- I put my trust in Allah
5 When thanking Allah: (ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ) (Alhamdulillah)- Praise be to Allah.
6 When thanking someone: (جزاك اللهُ خيراً) (Jazaaka Allahu Khair)- May Allah reward you with good.
7 When you see a favour of Allah: (ماشاء الله) (Ma sha Allah)- Allah has willed it.
8 When expressing thanks to someone: (بارك الله) (Baaraka Allah)- May the blessings of Allah be upon you.
9 When you feel troubled: (حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ) (Hasbi ya Allah)- Allah is sufficient for me.
10 When ascending: (الله أكبر) (Allahu Akbar)- Allah is Great.
11 When descending: ( سبحان الله) (Subhaana Allah)- Glory be to Allah.
12 When you see something evil: ( نَعُوْذُبِالله) (Na'uzhu bi Allah)-We seek refuge in Allah.
13 When you sinned: (أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰهَ) (Astagfiru Allah)- I ask for forgiveness from Allah.
14 When you see a catastrophe: (مَعاذَ اللهِ) (Ma'atha Allah)- Allah forbid.
15 When the reasons are against: (لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله) (La Hawla Wa La Quwwata illa Billah)- There is no power nor mighty except by Allah.
16 When saying farewell: (في أمان الله) (Fii Aman Allah)- In protection of Allah.
17 When someone dies or something is lost: (إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ) (Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raaji'un)- Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever directs someone to a good, then he will have the reward equal to the doer of the action.” [Muslim 1893]
