A young girl from Kodagu has written an open letter to the district officials and hospital staff, urging them to find her deceased mother’s phone which went missing after her death due to Covid. The girl, identified as Hrithishka of Kushalnagar wrote that her mother was admitted a week ago in the District Covid hospital and the phone has been missing since then.

It was mentioned that all the good memories of her mother is stored in that phone and requested to return it if anyone finds it. Hrithik also wrote that she is under home quarantine along with her father and they are surviving with the help offered by the neighbours.

The mobile phone lost at Covid Hospital, Madikeri, belonging to late Mrs. Prabha, Kushalanagar who lost her life due to Covid, was recovered and returned to her daughter, Hrithiksha. It was a satisfying moment for the girl as well as for us.

The best of journalism is shrinking, yielding to the crude prime-time spectacle. My digital news .in  has very few young reporters, columnists and editors working for it. Sustaining journalism of this quality needs smart and thinking people like you to pay for it. Whether you live in India or overseas, you can do it here
