Luthuanian lady thanking Andhra Police for Speedy Justice

Delivering #speedyJustice to a victim Foreign lady– Charge sheeted in 7days-Total trail completed in 13days–AP Police at the Best: On 08.03.2022, a #Luthuanian lady was trapped by two persons with deceitful means brought her to the forest area of Sydapuram of Nellore district. While the world was celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8 -2022, a foreigner who came to India as a tourist became a victim of an attempt to sexual assault.

A 25-year-old woman, who is a Lithuanian national visited India as a tourist to explore different places in the country. Before visiting India, she went to Sri Lanka. In India, she first landed in Chennai and from there took a bus to Bengaluru in order to go to Goa. She met Ingilala Sai Kumar on the bus. Ingilala Sai Kumar hailed from Venkannapalem village in Gudur Mandal. He lured the foreigner saying that he will help her in reaching Goa easily. 

On March 8, 2022, at around 02:30 pm The incident took place and both the accused were arrested on the same evening at 6 pm. The case was registered under sections 323, 354-A, 376 r/w 511 & 120 of the Indian Penal Code.

The victim who believed in his words came to Venkannapalem along with him. There the accused called his friend Syed Abid, also a resident of Gudur Mandal. They both took her to an isolated place in the forest area of Sydapuram and made an attempt to sexually assault her. When she resisted and screamed for help, the miscreants fled before the locals could reach there. And in A tweet The AP Police Tweeted " The Hon’ble VIII Addl. District & Sessions court completed the trial within 13 days, by examining 28 witnesses and delivered #judgement punishing the culprits. The two accused are sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for half-life with a penalty of Rs. 15000 each.
