A promise by empowered women towards empowering women: In line with the mandate of the GoAP, Women Safety & Security is given the top priority in the state, & with this vision, 15,000 Mahila Police were added to the Police Department.
Today, a group of Mahila Police met & expressed their gratitude towards the Andhra Pradesh CM & DGP of Andhra Pradesh, Gautam Sawang IPS for giving them an opportunity to serve women, children & the weaker sections of the society at the village/ward level.
As women, we understand the plight of our sisters in need. We promise to continue empowering women, day in & day out, individually & collectively with all the stakeholders involved," they reflected the prevailing sentiments amongst the Mahila Police across the state.
