Constable suspended and Case filed : GNT Police took Immediate Action on The Child Abuse incident
In a statement on the Twitter platform, AP police said that" There has been news circulating on Social media regarding a Police Constable having committed an offence on a minor child. Guntur Urban Police has promptly responded to it and the said constable was immediately suspended and a criminal case has also been registered.
The parents of the minor have reported a complaint stating that the said constable, who happens to be one of their neighbours, has been interacting with their daughter frequently and even after their admonishing him, he refused to mend his ways and has behaved in a ham-handed manner.
Committed to the cause of women safety, stern action has been taken and we will proceed as per facts. The parents of the girl have not reported any assault or harassment of the girl by the said police constable.
